Quality Products & Relaxing Classes for You!

This Icelandic moorit-colored ewe wants a taste of the apple, but I want  to check her udder to see how close she is to lambing.  Some times it is hard to get them to come close enough to touch them as they’re very shy, but if you have something they want, they’ll come eventually.

Welcome to Celtic Crossroads.  I wanted to live in the country with animals since I was 8-years old & finally, here I am!

We moved to Celtic Crossroads on April 23, 2003.  Currently, we have 10 sheep (6 lambs right now), 4 alpacas, 3 guineas &  32 chickens & 2 roosters. We also have a dog now, who’s about 2.5 years.  His name is Bud & he’s a dwarf Great Pyrenees.  He’s very cute.

We have farm tours for various groups: children, families, day cares, schools, & home-schooled children.  They love to pet the lambs or bottle feed them, and are fairly tame..

I do demonstrations for children, schools, fairs, & groups.  Please let me know ahead of time so I can schedule it in the tour, whether it’s about spinning, knitting, or crocheting.

We appreciate a $1.00 donation so the children understand that it goes for hay to feed for all the animals (it usually takes a bale a day in the summer or 2 bales a day in the winter).  If I know ahead of time, I can make sure to have everything ready so we can talk about what I’m doing, & maybe bottle feed the lambs & alpacas (if they haven’t eaten yet).

I also have a story time during Sunday afternoon (weather permitting) for small children (1-10 yo).  Please call to schedule a time to visit or for story time. See contact information below.
